JLK has won races at all levels, with several high-profile and underdog victories. These successes include winning a US Senate primary by 66% of the vote, winning a Congressional primary by 87%, winning a Congressional general election by 6% in a competitive district in a Blue Wave year, winning a competitive district Congressional general election by 17%, unseating a 14-year incumbent with a 63% win in a state legislature race, and winning a state legislature general election in which JLK’s candidate was outspent 8-to-1 in a D+15 district. 

 

JLK entered 2022 with three new Virginia Delegates added to its robust client list after winning more Republican “take-back” seats in the 2021 Virginia House election than any other consulting firm. In 2023, JLK successfully guided all of its incumbents to victory in their primary contests – including a historic 92% win and a 67% win against another incumbent who had been redistricted into the same district. Additionally, JLK non-incumbent clients won their Republican nominations in 2 state senate districts and 1 Virginia house district.
