SENIOR STRATEGIST

Jordan Root serves as a Senior Strategist at JLK Political Strategies, bringing more than two decades of experience helping candidates, organizations, and advocacy groups win campaigns and shape public opinion. His background spans political campaigns, public affairs, issue advocacy, and more than 100 independent expenditure efforts nationwide. At JLK, Jordan partners with clients to develop winning strategies grounded in data, experience, and a deep understanding of today’s political landscape.

Before joining JLK, Jordan served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Texas Governor Greg Abbott and previously held leadership roles as Digital Director for two presidential campaigns, three statewide campaigns, and his own digital strategy firm. His public affairs experience includes work across the energy, transportation, telecommunications, healthcare, and education sectors. A native Texan, Jordan earned his degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and lives in Austin with his wife and their two mischievous dachshunds. When he’s not working on campaigns, you’ll likely find him on the tennis court or trying to convince his wife to catch another concert.
