Jacklyn Washington serves as Director of Communications & Media Services, leading the firm’s earned media and strategic communications efforts for candidates, elected officials, advocacy organizations, and public affairs clients nationwide. She develops communication strategies that shape narratives, secure impactful media coverage, and help clients break through an increasingly crowded news cycle. From campaign messaging and media relations to rapid response and executive communications, Jacklyn works alongside clients to ensure every message is strategic, timely, and effective.

Before joining JLK, Jacklyn held senior communications roles for Governor Ron DeSantis, First Lady Casey DeSantis, Florida’s workforce system, and several national conservative organizations. Her experience spans statewide advertising campaigns, presidential campaign communications, crisis response, public affairs, and campaign strategy, giving her a well-rounded perspective on communicating in high-pressure environments. Originally from New Jersey and now based in Richmond, Virginia, Jacklyn is a graduate of Florida Southern College. Outside of work, she enjoying traveling, staying active, and spending time with her golden retriever, Tucker Carlson.
